Laser printers have achieved dominance in the home and office markets because they are designed to operate efficiently, economically and reliably for many years. They do, however, require regular professional attention.

JMD Technical Center provides a variety of services to fit your needs.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE PROGRAM

• It is recommended that your laser printers be checked quarterly to prolong the life of your equipment. In fact, regular preventive maintenance can double a printer's life while keeping paper jams and other malfunctions to a minimum. Having regular maintenance done ensures quality performance, prevents unscheduled downtime, and helps you reduce the cost of repairs and parts replacement.
• Preventive maintenance program delivers regular visit to your printers to protect your hardware investment.
• This program includes the following:
  • Four (4) cleanings per year, per printer. First cleaning will be scheduled during week 1 of the contract. Second cleaning will be scheduled 3 months after that date and so on.
  
  

  Preventive maintenance process:

  • Each printer is pre-tested to verify proper operation and connections by printing off test pages.
  • After test printing, cartridge is removed and carefully placed out of direct light sources.
  • The printer is then disassembled; trays, covers, and assemblies are placed aside.
  • The entire printer is vacuumed thoroughly to remove paper dust, toner/ink wastes, and other debris.
  • Lenses, mirrors and other parts are inspected and cleaned using cleaning solutions specific for each component. All points of the printer are carefully lubricated.
  • After thorough cleaning and inspection on each component, the printer is assembled, external parts are cleaned and tested.
  • A service report will be submitted to you indicating the work done and recommendations, if there are any.

INSTALLATION OF PARTS

Our competent service engineers install printer parts free of charge. As an added benefit to you as our valued clients, we give 10% discount on printer parts.

PROVISION OF SERVICE UNITS

Service units are provided for printers that cannot be repaired on site and require further troubleshooting at the JMD International Service Center.
