JMD International Corporation BRIEF HISTORY

JMD International Trading Corporation started in 1995 and is primarily engaged in the remanufacturing of Laser Toner and Inkjet Cartridges for printers specifically the Hewlett-Packard™ and the Canon™ brands. With an initial staff of five (5) employees, the company grew as it has ventured into laser cartridge remanufacturing, trading and importation of compatible laser cartridges and consumables, as well as original and compatible printer parts. In October 2003, the company changed its name to JMD INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION and currently has sixty (60) employees.

Over 38 tons of plastics and material are saved from our overburdened landfills each year as a result of cartridge manufacturing. The plastic used in printer cartridge takes more than 10 centuries to decompose. The average compatible manufacturer salvages and restores enough cartridge each year to equal a 3-storey building.

More than three quarts of oil required producing each new laser toner cartridge. In just seven months , cartridge compatible manufacturing will save 11 million gallons of oil or more than that which spilled by the Exxon Valdez in Alaska's Prince William Sound in 1989.
